DAHLMAN BARBARA PRASS DAHLMAN On Saturday, August 30, 2008, Barbara Prass Dahlman, of Bethesda, MD, formerly of Germantown, MD. Beloved mother of Michael K. Dahlman, Mary D. Cowden, Craig Dahlman and Linda M. Rivera; grandmother of Michael K. Dahlman, Jr., Christina M. Dahlman, Julianne E. Dahlman, Natalie M. Cowden, Allyson M. Cowden, Grace R. Dahlman, Connor C. Dahlman, Samuel G. Rivera and Edgar A. Rivera. Preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Metz, wife of Jackson Metz. Also survived by her former husband, Stanley M. DahIman. Relatives and friends may call at Holy Redeemer Church, Summit Ave. & Cable Drive, Kensington, MD, Friday, 5 to 8 p.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Mission, Inc., PO Box 232, David, KY 41606. Arrangements by COLLINS FUNERAL HOME.

Barbara was like no other. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, Christian, and above all, friend. Barb is the perfect role model of a life well lived. Throughout her difficult times, she maintained that wonderful smile and "twinkle" in her eye. She always made it about you, even when you were visiting her in the ICU. Barb was "grace-filled" - she knew God, and He loved her. Rest in the peace you SO deserve, Barb~ We will miss you tremendously, but rejoice in knowing your breath has been taken away by the One who made you beautiful!! Much love,

Barbara was a wonderful woman. She was full of fun, faith, and was very affirming. I am grateful for the years she volunteered to help with RCIA at Holy Redeemer. Her faith stories and words of encouragement did a great deal to help the class fall in love with God and the Catholic Church. I will miss her warmth, joy and love. My deepest condolences to her dearly beloved family who she always talked about with great joy.
