About
Barry Smoler Obituary
He was born on March 25, 1940 in Chicago and grew up in Highland Park, Illinois. He went east in 1958 for college and graduated from Yale University (1962) and Harvard Law School (1965).
Barry was inspired by President John Kennedy's call to public service and moved to Washington, DC, where he spent the majority of his career in legal work in the Federal Government, retiring in the year 2000. He married Ann (Durkin) Smoler in 1977.
He will be interred in Graysville Cemetery, Graysville, Pennsylvania in the spring.

Ann my prayers of comfort are with you. Barry will be missed, it was such a pleasure getting to know you both through the SCC. He always had a wealth of information to share. Hugs sweet friend.
