Ben was also a valued member of the Virginia State Guard (Virginia Defense Force) and I am proud to have served with him.

I was David's girlfriend from 8th grade until senior year, 64 to 69. Ben was a constant figure in the family. His love of the Fire Department was a constant. I had no idea of Ben's passing, and very sorry to hear of it. I also heard of Peggy's passing. The Endicott family was my second family and I will always think of them fondly.

I think of Ben often. I retired from the Virginia Defense Force in 2012 and was out of the information loop when he passed. Didn't learn of his passing in time to attend his services. There were very few soldiers of his caliber.

Ben was a valued friend and member of my command in the Virginia Defense Force (VDF). A state flag has been mailed to the church for presentation to his next of kin. Sorry I was not aware of his memorial service in time to have the flag there for it.

I remember you and your family when you all lived on West Howell Avenue and my family (the Spears)lived on West Windsor in Alexandria...Some of my fondest memories are of playing football, baseball and water battles in our back yard with the Endicotts... Benji, David and Margaret.
Best wishes and fond memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in family, friends and prayer (Psalm 65:2) during this difficult time.

It has been meany years since you and family lived on Howell Ave but I played ball with your sister Margaret and practiced pitching in your driveway. My prayer is that you are with the Lord this day. Carolyn Pavone Langley
