ZITOMER, BENJAMIN

On Sunday, March 21, 2004, BENJAMIN ZITOMER, of Bowie, MD and Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Dorothy Zitomer; devoted father of Martha (Orin) Shemin, Marilyn (Jonathan) Fine, Nathaniel (Jennifer) Zitomer and Linda (Michael) Mallach; loving brother of Joseph Zitomer; dear grandfather of Michelle, Jeffrey, Rishona, Tamara, Jodi and Shelley; and great-grandfather of Conner. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, at 3 p.m. at DANZANSKY-GOLDBERG MEMORIAL CHAPELS, INC., 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. Interment Ezras Israel Congregation Section of National Capital Hebrew Cemetery, Capital Heights, MD. Shiva will be observed at Marilyn and Jonathan Fine's residence. Memorial contributions may be made to Nevey Shalom Congregation or to the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy of Greater Washington.

Dear Marilyn and Jonathan,



I never met your father but I can only imagine what a devoted father and caring Jew he must have been. Dedicated and knowledgeable teachers, like you, usually get their start in loving and supportive homes. I have to believe that your dear father provided that for you and gave you the desire to share your devotion to Judaism with others.



May his memory be for a blessing and may you find comfort in knowing that you were a devoted and loving daughter.
