Brendan Sausville Obituary

Brendan John Sausville, 39, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away August 4, 2024, from complications of a long illness. Formerly of Silver Spring, MD, he was a son of Edward A. Sausville and the late Carol Cassidy Sausville. Brendan attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC, where he participated in forensics. He graduated from James Hubert Blake High School in Silver Spring, MD, where he was a member of the lacrosse team. He was working as a night clerk in a Circle K in Myrtle Beach, SC prior to his passing. He was a volunteer for trail maintenance of the A10 Nature Trail in conjunction with the Myrtle Beach Mountain Bike Association. Brendan is survived by his father, Edward (Shannon) of Edgewater, MD; brothers, Justin (Kristin) of Newark, DE, Paul of New Market, MD; sisters, Elizabeth Friesen (Peter) of California, MD, and Rebecca (affianced to Zach Rivers) of Rahway, NJ. He is also survived by his nephews, Matthew, Benjamin, Gabriel, and Aidan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Cassidy Sausville. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10 a.m. in St. Bernadette Church, 70 University Blvd E, Silver Spring MD. Committal and Entombment will follow at 11:30 a.m. September 14, 2024 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery also in Silver Spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to 801 East Men's Shelter - Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Washington OR St. Bernadette School, Silver Spring MD through [email protected].
