Brian P. Moore

BRIAN PATRICK MOORE (Age 46)  
Of Potomac Falls, VA died on January 5, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer at Mt. Vernon Hospital, Alexandria, VA. He was born on May 8, 1964 in St. Louis, MO. Brian retired from the FAA as an air traffic controller after 25 years of service. He was a singer with the musical group "Washington Revels" and a former member of MOASIC Harmony Choir. Brian was an avid bowler, a world traveler, and a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy. Brian is survived by Michael R. Coffey of Manassas, VA, his father John Moore, Sr. of St. Louis, MO and, his siblings, Leanora Moore-Beulah and her husband Mark of Bolingbrook, IL, John Moore, Jr. and his wife Deandra of Atlanta, GA and David Moore of New York City, NY, and nieces and nephews, Braxton, Brandon, Brooke, Nicole and Ryan. He was predeceased by his mother, Leanora Bolton Moore.The family will receive friends on Friday, January 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree Street, Herndon, VA.
