Oh Wow, It has been 2 years since I was your teacher, and I will never forget that Friday, March 11, when you told me I would see a change in your next class. That day never came, and in my heart, you will always be. Thank you the cherished moments!

How time has passed, it's been 19 years since I got the news of this loss but the thoughts and those last words will forever be in my heart and mind. I will never forget that Friday afternoon and hearing Brittany tell me that she was going to be better in school starting Mondy. Seeing the look in her eyes will always make my heart happy even though that day never came because we lost Brittany that Saturday. Brittany will always be in my heart!

Brittany, having this opportunity to say how much meant to me and how even now your life still is a reminder of why I do what I do. Every year when I meet new students I always have to speak of the wonderful young lady you were and how our last days will forever be in my heart. Thank you for the time we I was able you know and love you! Rest my Angel!

The thoughts of this day will always register in my heart and Brittany will always be in my heart. I often think about that last day we talk and seeing that smile on her face of the change I would see in her when she return to class on that Monday! That smile is all I have in my memories! This young lady will forever be in my classroom and my heart. To the family, I want you to know Brittany will always be my sweet student angel! May God continue to bless you All.

Brittany, Life slips by and days goes om, but from my heart you're never gone. I still have you math worksheet that you turn in Friday afternoon before your left school, and I still hear you say, "I'm gonna do better from now on, I promise". I think about you every school year when I reflect on the joy my student bring me, so know I have to share the wonder young lady you are. I have wonderful memories of that Friday but hurt so much about that Saturday when I found out that you were gone, how I wish I still had you here. Soar like the eagle you are in my heart and I pray that we will hug again! I Love & Miss You, Brittany!

Brittany has still put a shock on all of us and I am speaking for the whole family. We're still in disbeleif but we have to face it, Brittany is gone. Only in the physical world though because she is very much with us in spirit and let me tell you, her spirit is strong here. Me, Steve, Duke, and Darlene is going to miss all of her little pranks on us, laughs, and all the good memories. Mark, if we all pull together, we will get through this.Mommy, I wasnt there for every birthday britt had but for all the time we did have together, we became oh so very close. We could tell eachother almost anything and she was a good friend to me. We're all going to miss you britt. I love you!

Dear Darlene,

Hi Sweetie, it's Mrs. Lewis from Old Bridge. I just heard the terrible news about Brittany and I know you must be very sad. I'm so sorry for you and your family.

Did you know that Brittany was in my math class in third grade? I liked her very much. I also remember the last time I saw you and Brittany. It was at Staples and although I knew you right away, I didn't recogonize Brittany. She was not too happy with me!!! It was so good to see you both.

I will think about you and your family.

Lots of love,

My thoughts and prayers are with the Baker family. I did not know Brittany very well but I do remember her from her many visits to the school library. I am familiar with Darlene also. It is difficult to put into words my regrets and expressions to you, her family. So I will direct you to God's words. God promises a time where there will be no more pain and sorrow. (Revelation 21:3,4.) I know that it is difficult to imagine this in your time of sorrow but God will sustain you all.Darlene, you will be in my prayers

How can I say goodbye. My heart is broken and my thoughts are unclear. You where to young to die and only God knows why. I will cherish my thoughts of you forever. My memories of you will follow me for as long as I live. You where my daughter for awhile and I loved you very much. I can only say to your mother; Viola hold on to the memories, the laughter, the love. Our Brittany will forever be here with us because she was loved. It is so hard to find the right words to express how difficult this is for so many people. Brittany...a sweet, intelligent, talented girl with so much life and goodness to share with the world. She deeply loved her family and her friends, and we have lasting memories to keep in our hearts for a lifetime. My deepest sympathy and compassion to all who knew her...especially, her mother Viola. The depths of your pain cannot be understood or eased by anyone but God.

My sympathy goes out to the family of Brittany Baker. She was one of my good friends and I felt like I could tell her everything. I met her this year at school, but felt like I'd known her a lifetime. She was really cool and was always honest and spoke her mind. I feel like our friendship was cut short. The memories of Brittany, Cori, and I just sitting around chatting will always be with me and one day we'll meet again.
