CAREY ELIOT CLECKLEY, JR.
Suddenly, on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 of Washington, D.C. Beloved son to Ann S. Cleckley; devoted brother to Cinnamon Cleckley Brown; uncle to Jalen, Mychael, and Aubreigh; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Mount Airy Baptist Church, 1100 North Capital Street, NW Washington, DC 20002. Viewing 10 a.m., Service at 11 a.m. Interment Harmony National Cemetery, Hyattsville, Maryland.

Hey little cuz, we all miss you very much.
Even though you have been gone for awhile now, whenever I hear Erykah Badu song, can I get a window seat?
I always think about our last conversation we had together laughing at one another about that song.
Still missing you little cuz, but have so many great memories/ moments that I carry in my heart

From '96 man you were always cool with me...certainly viewed you as a brother Carey, you will be sorely missed ...I'll remember the laughs and good times....though some brief, they are to be remembered...much love...until we meet on that other side brother....

We were there but did not see/sign the book. It was a beautiful service and showed how many lives Carey touched at such a young age. I don't know if I have ever seen a service cut short because so many wanted to say so much of how Carey had befriended them. You and your mother were truly BLESSED to have had two GREAT MEN in your lives. We will continue to keep both of you in our prayers. GOD BLESS.
