CARL Abrams Obituary

Abrams

COL. CARL R. Abrams US Air Force (Ret.)

Col. Carl R. Abrams died at home on January 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Always stubborn, he held on through his 69th wedding anniversary and the dawn of 2023 before heading on to his next adventure. Col. Abrams served honorably for 30 years as both a JAG lawyer and judge. In retirement on Capitol Hill, he and his wife, Joan, rode a tandem bike across the city and traveled extensively. He adored his wife and his three children, David, Tamar, and Sarabeth, as well as their spouses and children and grandchildren. Interment at a future date in Congressional Cemetery.

What isn´t mentioned is that he became a great-great grandfather on November 8, 2021 to a beautiful little girl, Abigail Rose, who never got to meet him but his memory and stories will be passed on from all of us.
