Carl Bostrom Obituary
Carl Eric Bostrom, 66, of Rockville, MD died following surgery on June 26, 2024. Born in New Haven, CT, Eric grew up in Silver Spring, MD. Eric is survived by his loving family including parents Carl and Sara Bostrom; sisters Robyn (H. Gabriel) Dagen, and Jennifer (J Earl) Coffman; nephews Daniel Simmons, Cody Simmons, Alex Dagen; and numerous great nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
Eric was a businessman who specialized in the repair and restoration of vintage Coin-Op machines. He got his start in pinball repair working at Home Amusements of Rockville early in his career. His business, PinballService.com, had many customers throughout the greater DC area. Eric also worked for Advanced Pest Solutions, providing pest control services in Maryland and the Baltimore/Washington region. Eric enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping, and golfing. He was a cat lover and patio tomato plant grower, sharing his bounty with family and friends every summer. Eric made jewelry and was also an avid collector of fossils, specializing in sourcing unusual trilobite fossils.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Eric from 2 to 4 p.m. on July 23, 2024 at Riderwood Senior Living, 3140 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, in the Town Center Celebrations Room.
