I worked with Carl at the PDS in Washington DC. He was always a gentleman, soft spoken and as big brother, always watching over you to make sure everything was going well. Carl rest in peace.

Sending prayers of strength, peace and comfort to the family and friends of Carl Chase at this time of their bereavement. He was a friend and former colleague who left us too soon. Indeed, his presence on this plane will be sorely missed in the years ahead.

Carl was a good friend in the 1980s when Betsy started at ORD at PDS and I started receiving criminal appointments through the CJA Office in Superior Court where Carl worked. We have fond memories of softball games and parties where we danced through the night. Carl traveled to Massachusetts labor-day of 1985 to DJ our wedding. He was a kind person and a good friend. May he rest in peace. Rick Seligman and Betsy Biben-Seligman

I first got to know Carl in 1983 when I was a law student picking up criminal cases and continued through the 1980s when I was a beginning lawyer. He was a god send helping me to learn how to navigate the courts, clients, etc.. Most of the lawyers I know who were starting to practice around that time felt the same way. We were all indebted to him for helping us find our way. He was sorely missed when he left and is remembered with great admiration and appreciation for all he did. Condolences to his family.
