Of Lauderdale By The Sea passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2005, at his residence. Mr. Fiorenza was born in raised in Boston, MA, moved to the Washington, D.C. area, and retired to Lauderdale By The Sea. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II . Carl was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. Fiorenza was preceded in death by his son Russell Richard; his parents Joseph and Evelyn Fiorenza and his siblings Camille Evans, Joseph Fiorenza, Richard Fiorenza and Paulette Fiorenza. He is survived by his wife Cynthia; two children Carleena Gabriela and Christian Joseph; four grandchildren Christian and Kimberly Reuwer and Anthony and Isabella Fiorenza and nine brothers and nine sisters Ann Reinold, Evelyn DeTeso, Albert G. Fiorenza, Arlene MacLean, James Fiorenza, George Fiorenza, Maryann Carey, Lawrence Fiorenza and Edward Fiorenza. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p,m. on Monday, September 19, 2005 at BABIONE FUNERAL HOME, 1100 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4595 Bayview Dr., Ft. Lauderdale, MD. Burial will follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery. The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33432. Uncle Carl will be remembered by me as an unselfish soul who cared deeply about his family and friends. He was always there to help those who could not help themselves. He possessed the wisdom needed to be a true patriarch. My thoughts and prayers go out to Cyndy, Christian and Carleena.
