Carl was one of those people that you know will not be a normal relationship. He was extremely intelligent and also challenging. Despite our differences I liked and admired him. He was committed to addressing neurogical disorders. A good man.

The Harvard Club of Washington, DC extends its deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Carl Leventhal. His jovial and convivial presence at our many programs will surely be missed. Often accompanied by his daughter Dina, he made valuable contributions over the last several decades, especially to our embassy events.
May his memory serve as a blessing.
