On Thursday, September 18, 2025, CAROLYN HOCKSTEIN of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of David Hockstein. Devoted mother of Janet Hockstein (Ami Greenstein), Steven Hockstein (Nitza) and Evelyn Hockstein (Freddy Kunkle). Cherished grandmother of Ari (Sharon), Noa (Andrew), Abby and Annabel Hockstein and Yoni, Maya and Noam Greenstein. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, 12 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. After the service, shiva will be observed at the family home on Friday and on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.

Carolyn will be missed. Our friendship was special even though we loved miles apart for seven years. Carolyn persevered through her illness with undiminished grace and dignity. We send blessings for the family and David at this very sad time.
