CATHERINE E. MARTIN (Age 101)
On Thursday, September 19, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Daniel W. Martin; mother of Mary C. Birckbichler, Charles E. Martin (Julie) and the late Daniel T. Martin. Also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The Martins lived 2 doors down from my parents house They were great friends and enjoyed going bowling and playing cards. She now is with her maker and god bless.

Dear Family of Catherine Martin,
I've known this lady almost all my life. My grandparents lived 3 doors away from the Martin family. Mary and I became fast friends as young children. Catherine always welcomed me into their home where I learned to play many card games. Catherine was a lady of faith, family, and good works.
