Hard to believe my friend/brother has been gone 10 years already. Miss him and his wise counsel as well as his priceless friendship. No truer friend and brother has any man ever had! I miss Chuck every day. Until we meet again one day!

Who could forget Chuck? He was such an important part of our church. He was someone to emulate, caring, hard working, a family man, and a great friend.

Looks like I'm a bit late, but the Master Chief has never been out of my thoughts since about 1982. I was an E-4 and I credit my success in the Navy to his mentorship.

I was just talking about Master Chief Higdon. I was explaining to someone how he saved me from myself in 1983 when I was an E-5 in the Navy. Because of what he did back then, I had a successful career and retired a Master Chief Yeoman. He was a great man. God Bless the family.

Beautiful, moving ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery yesterday. A fine and fitting send off for my friend and brother, Chuck. Fair winds and following seas, my brother. Until we meet again, in that house not made with hands, you'll forever be in my thoughts and in my heart.

God bless you Cousin and you will be missed. You have been my life long friend and grade school classmate since we were just boys on the play ground at the Old Cisco School and we spent many child hood years together. You were also one of the finest people that I have been blessed to have as a life long friend.

Faye, Carla and Damien; Deb and I wanted to attend the memorial services yesterday very much. The weather in Pennsylvania's mountains made travel a large potential risk. We will be there for the internment at Arlington. Chuck was a friend of mine in our years together on ADAK and a very large influence in my life. Chuck helped me understand that personal strength was about calm understanding and holding a balanced perspective. I will always remember him.

I didn't know Chuck very well, but from visits to O'ahu and from a distance, I observed a man who loved and served God, a humble and gentle man who loved and cared well for his wife and his family. Fay, you did well in choosing him! I will greatly miss him and pray for God's loving arms to comfort you and the family. What a life to celebrate ... I can hear Jesus welcoming him saying "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Your in my prayers. Love you and big HUG! Adele
