We remember celebrating the start of summer by going out together on our boats, going to your parents' house, swimming in their pool, playing volleyball,
and watching fireworks. His love of helping others and his big heart will be forever in our memories.

Chuck´s positivity and optimism were always on full display. He was so proud of his family and friends. Although they say that time `heals´ all wounds, the loss of one we love never truly `heals´. I hope that you will relish the memories you have meticulously created together, and in so doing, keep Chuck´s spirit alive. May you find comfort in knowing he is at peace. My deepest sympathies.

Chuck was like a dad to me, when I met Cara he took my son and I in as part of his family. He always made sure we were apart of family events and always took time to do something with Thomas. When Thomas want to carve a Phineas and Ferb pumpkin for Halloween grandpa Chuck went on the hunt for a big enough pumpkin and help Thomas find the perfect picture and then helped him carve his pumpkin for school. When my husband and I decided to get married he welcomed Mike with open arms to the family and told him he better take care of his daughter and his grandson. Dad you will be missed by so many and were loved by so many people and you touched everyone´s life in your own way. Rest In Peace dad and know we will all be ok.

Dear Merrie and family - You know how fond I was of Chuck. We were great friends in school, and I, like many, will miss him terribly. After reconnecting in 2007, we spent much time reminiscing about the past, catching up towards the present, and pondering the future. We joked, he always made me laugh, and it felt like 1970 all over again. Good people with big hearts never change. The common thread in all conversations was the love he had for his family, about whom he spoke so lovingly. I know his presence was larger than life. I hope you find some comfort in his cherished memory. It is your forever blessing. Love, Marcia
