Charlotte Anderson
On January 1, 2022, Charlotte Anderson, 49, transitioned. Born and raised in Washington, DC to Lottie and Charlie Seward, Charlotte lovingly affected many lives personally and professionally. She attended The Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts and was able to showcase her voice at the famed Kennedy Center before graduating from Roosevelt High Schoo. After attending Montgomery College, Charlotte held a number of positions across the real estate and retail industries. She and her family were most proud of her for earning a Maryland real estate license while building "The DC Team" real estate group within Long & Foster Realty in Bethesda, Maryland. Charlotte's biggest accomplishment was giving birth to a healthy son, Justin, on January 4, 2000. She fought hard to maintain her health and raise Justin. A three-time cancer survivor, Charlotte beat it with fervor, style and class, often showing up to her doctor's appointments in one of her mink coats and sparkling jewelry. She also counseled cancer patients for the Edith P. Wright Foundation. Charlotte is survived by husband, Jeff; son, Justin; mother, Lottie Seward; brothers Frederick and Glen Seward; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Future Services will be private. Donations on Charlotte's behalf can be made to the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation.
