CHERYL BROOKS-LEWIS
On Tuesday, November 28, 2017 of Landover, MD, beloved mother, daughter, sister, Cheryl Brooks-Lewis departed from this life. She is survived by mother, Doris M. Brooks; one son, Corey A. Lewis, Sr.; three grandchildren, Ciara, Cydnee and Corey, Jr.; one sister, Wendy Commodore; three brothers, Craig Brooks, Clark Brooks and Nathaniel Commodore. She was preceded in death by her father, Moses N. Brooks. A Celebration of Cheryl's Life will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017, Viewing and Visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at Zion Baptist Church, 4850 Blagden Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20011. Rev. Dr. Keith W. Byrd, Sr., Pastor. Arrangements entrusted to PRECIOUS MEMORIES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, DAVID TAYLOR P.A.

Cheryl,you will be truly missed. God don't make no mistakes. Every thing works together for the good. Though,we may may endure for 1 night joy always come in the morning. As I lool back over my life, I can put 3 scores behind me. God has brought me a mighty long way. You see he cares for us. He said "case all your cares on him." There is no sorrow heaven cannot heal. I will really miss you,so long, until we meet each other again. Cherly, I will remember you always,their will always be a place in my heary for you. Whenever, I look up I can see that beautiful smile. Even when I am having a bad day,I can always look to the heavens and see that beautiful smile. May God comfort your family.

You will be truly missed. I remember from day 1 when I first met you,you were so down to earth. You had the prettiest smile. Until we meet again rest in eternal peace. When ever I look up I can see that beautiful smile,just like a angel.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is always so very hard to lose a loved one in death and our loving Heavenly Father is very aware and understand your painful loss. He will listen to your prayer and pay attention to your pleas for help because he is near to all those calling on him. He will hear your cry for help and give you comfort.
