CHRIS CUNNANE Obituary

Chris Cunnane
Chris Cunnane left this life and joined her departed and beloved husband, William on August 22, 2018. She entered the world Christine Waldo on December 19, 1946, one of five children to Emily and Clyde. She spent her 71 years dedicated to her family and her Catholic faith (and the Redskins). Despite her own health concerns, she always put others first and was the caretaker for her aunt, her husband, and her daughter. Chris was always fond of the shore and moved to Wilmington, NC five years ago to be closer to the beach and help her daughter pursue her acting passion. She is survived by her two children, Erin, of Wilmington, NC, and Bill, of Fairfax, VA, and two granddaughters, Keely and Mackenzie of Ashburn. Visitation and celebration of her life is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Falls Church. A funeral mass will be held in her honor on Wednesday, September 5 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Falls Church, with interment to follow.
