CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS HICKS
Died suddenly on July 6, 2018 at his home in Capitol Heights, MD. Beloved father of Christopher Cory Thurston Hicks. He is also survived by two sisters, Tywana "Tiny" Richardson and Geraldine "Tria" Faison; one brother, Rodney Faison; devoted companion, Shirley Brown; and a host of aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; and life-long friends. He will always and forever be missed. Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 21 from 1 p .m. until Service time 2 p.m. at Pope Funeral Home, Forestville Chapel, 5538 Marlboro Pike.

The Brown family is Very sorry to hear of Chris' passing. Please accept our sincerest condolences. I will never forget when he gave me a ride to elementary school in his Chevy SS. When we took off he left a huge cloud of tire smoke .It seemed like we went 100mph. That may seem like such an insignificant event, but we never know how much of an impact the smallest acts of kindness can have in someone's life. The few times I've seen Chris since I've beenan adult, I always told him what that short ride meant to me.
