I feel so fortunate that I was able to meet Chris and get to know him for a few, yet too brief years. I was always excited to see his smiling face at different social events. He was so easy to talk to and was truly gifted at making people feel special. I really admired the relationship he had with Debbie and could see how happy and content he made her. He talked about his son often, and I could tell he was such a proud Dad. I have all his friends and family in my thoughts and prayers.

As I make the trek back to the house where we had so many memories. Christmas celebrations,Nicky growing up, birthday celebrations, easy times in the evening just discussing events and ideas. My heart will never heal. I love you so much, my son.

I am so sorry for the loss of Chris. I spent most (of my time) of this past summer with Chris & Debbie in Dewey Beach. Chris had a smile on his face 100% of the time. His smile was equally as bright on his final day. He was such an understanding, warm, funny, intelligent & welcoming man. Sending love & support to Debbie & Chris´ entire family, as this is such a great loss. He will be missed.

I met Chris through Debbie. Sometimes it´s hard for a new significant other to join an established friend group. But, this wasn´t the case with Chris. Chris was a wonderful addition to our crowd right from the start. He was one of those people that you meet & you feel like you have known them forever. Plus, it was clear to everyone how much he cared for & how perfect he & Debbie were for each other. He was intelligent, kind, thoughtful & so very genuine. I always enjoyed talking with him. He will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest condolences to his family.

I met Chris a few years ago when we stayed in the same beach house over July 4th weekend, when he and Debbie were in town for their friends' wedding. I realize people tend to offer platitudes in times like this, but I´m telling you this is genuine - the moment I made Chris´s acquaintance, there was a distinct warmth and friendliness about him that heartened me immediately. I remember thinking, "Wow, these two are such authentically lovely people." We became fast friends that weekend and ran into each other socially over the years via our mutual friendships. He exuded such deep love for Debbie. I am so very sorry he has left us so soon.

It´s only been a week and Arlington isn´t the same without you, Chris. As the golden girls would say, thank you for being a friend.
