On Wednesday, September 1, 2004, CLARICE NEWMAN; mother of Alicia (Clifford) Thompson, Delophia, William, Kendrick (Lonna), Dominic and Antoine Newman; sister of Joyce Smith, Joan, Newton, Jr. and Roscoe Hunter. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; thre aunts; four uncles; numerous nieces and nephew; other relatives and many friends. Mrs. Newman will lie in state at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 909 Queen St., Alexandria, VA on Tuesday, September 7, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 noon. Rev. Duane Kay officiating. Interment Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Services by CHINN-BAKER FUNERAL HOME.
