Constance Hipkins Obituary
Constance "Connie" Hipkins passed away peacefully at home on October 26, 2025. She was a devoted mother, wife, friend and teacher at Woodridge Elementary School and Fort Lincoln Open Space School in Washington, DC. Connie was adored for her warmth, patience, and unrelentless dedication. She is survived by her children Chris, Colin (Sandy) and Paul Montgomery, Kenneth and Audrey Hipkins (Ray Williams), and Governor (Meggan) Reese; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Montgomery; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, at St. Paul's Rock Creek Episcopal Church, 100 Allison Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20011. Viewing 10 a.m., Delta Sigma Theta - Omega Omega Service 10:45 a.m., Funeral 11 a.m., Burial and Reception to follow at same location.
