CORINNE AVERY ROOSEVELT (Age 47)
Of Washington, DC died unexpectedly on April 5, 2017 while snorkeling with her parents on Vieques Island, PR. A graduate of Georgetown Day School, Princeton University, and the University of Virginia Law School, Corinne is survived by her husband Michael Colón, her beloved children Sophia, Quentin and Isabel, her parents Kermit and Priscilla Roosevelt, her brother Kim, and her large extended family. A service will be held at 11 a.m. June 10 at St. Columba's Episcopal Church, followed by a reception at Georgetown Day School. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the SHARE program at Princeton University.

I remember Corinne well from Princeton, where I founded the SHARE program in 1987. An amazing woman- rest in power!

Michael, I recently learned of what happened to Corinne and feeling so sad for you, your kids y demas familia. Truly enjoyed the time spent with you, Corinne and Sophia (who was just an infant at the time) during our visit to Puerto RIco and staying at your Tia Dolly's house. I regret not having kept in touch, getting to share more wonderful moments and meeting your other children, Quentin & Isabel. I am at a loss for words. Corinne was a true friend, incredidibly empathetic and perceptive. I enjoyed our long conversations and will miss her dearly. I am so sorry. Such a special person.

Our condolences for your loss. We know this is a difficult time, and words cannot truly express how you feel, but please take comfort in what is said in Psalms 145:19. It tells us, that God hear your cries for help, and He will save you.
