Craig Fox Obituary
Lucky is the man who finds his calling. By that measure of a life, Craig was blessed.
He established fine men's clothier Wm. Fox & Co. in 1965 with William Frank, and assumed sole ownership in 1975. He retired in 2020, but the tradition continues under master tailor Shafiq Halim.
He was respected by clients for his impeccable taste, and beloved by friends and family for his generosity, even temper, and unique sense of humor. Craig had an uncommon ability to remain friends with ex-wives and girlfriends.
He is survived by daughter Laura (Sol Schott) and sons Billy and Ryan; significant other Cidette Perrin; and former wives Lenora Rose and Judith Wennerberg. The family welcomes contributions to Culpeppergarden.org/donate.
A celebration of life will be held July 29 at 4 p.m. at Old Dominion Boat Club.

I followed Craig through all of his shop´s incarnations. Despite the ongoing headwinds of men´s changing dress styles, Craig held true to his love of natural shoulder traditional men´s clothing. He was a wonderful person and friend. Despite his long time health issues, he always had a smile. His taste was impeccable. I always told him I could wear anything in his shop. He one of the last of the natural shoulder clothiers left in the United States, and will be greatly missed.

Having just by accident seen Craig's obituary, I pass my condolences to his family. I was a friend of Craig's in high school and a high school fraternity brother. I also worked along side of him at our parttime job at the Windsor Men's shop on King St. in Alexandria during our high school days. Craig was liked by everyone and will be greatly missed.
