I know Shannon from my both of my boys school, Malcolm Elementary in Waldorf, MD. I was very saddened to hear about the tragic car accident that took her husbands life and left Shannon in the hospital with multiple injuries. I pray that God will bring peace and comfort to the entire family during this most difficult time. I also pray for Shannon's total healing and recovery and may God give her peace and comfort over the loss of her husband. God bless you all.
Here is a scripture for comfort:
Psalm 121:1-4
I lift up my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip--he who watches over you will not slumber; Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

I never knew Craig I don't even listen to 99.1 until this morning. My radio station was turned on 99.1 for what reason I really do not know. As I was driving to work this morning I did not turn the station as I was listening to Craig's friends sharing their memories about Craig to the whole world I was so touch and even laughed for a brief moment about a lottery ticket. I guess what I wanted to say I didn't even know craig and he made me laugh. He sounded like a man who loved life his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with the Walden family and his friends. May God put his hands on each and every one of you and guide you though this tragedy .

I met Craig through my friendship with the Shea family. He and Shannon dated for several years before he "officially" became part of their family, but he was a fixture in that home years before that happened.
I always enjoyed his sense of humor and the loving way he always teased Shannon. They made a great couple. He impressed me with his tenderness and affection for Shannon's younger sisters and the way that they obviously adore him.
He was a bright star. Funny, smart and very sweet.
The Walden and Shea families have my deepest condolences, my prayers and my love. My heart breaks for the beautiful and wonderful Shannon. Her deep faith and the love and support of her family and friends will provide her with support during this very difficult time.

Hello Walden Family and Shannon,
My deepest heartfelt thoughts and prayers go to you during this most challenging time.
I would like to share some thoughts of how I knew Craig and although our time was short what a positive impression he made on me.
Fr Dan Leary, Craig and another friend of ours have known each other thanks to a golf tournament to benefit my children's school in Gaithersburg, MD. It has been a new ritual for us the past two years and is upcoming next Monday, May 3. I only knew Craig for about 10 hours of his short life on this golf course in Frederick County. However, in that time I felt like I had known him for a lifetime. His humor, energy level and amazing wit were truly an inspiration. I loved how he brought us four together for fun and companionship. It was truly special to know and be around him. The enthusiasm he showed us and anyone around him was an example to strive for in my life going forward.
When Fr Dan - named 'FD' by Craig called me Thursday with the tragic news - I was extremely sad. However, in moments of prayer and reflection since I also felt blessed to have met Craig and have known such a special and positive person. People come into and out of our lives for mostly unknown reasons. Now I've come to believe that Craig's being a part of my life was to show me a living example of God's work on earth. Craig's life was too short in our terms, but in God's he is now home and making others smile as he did me and others during those special times.
Bless you all,
