CURTIS BOOKER Obituary
CURTIS E. BOOKER (Age 58) Musician and Entertainer
Died peacefully at home on June 4, 2017 in Houma, LA. Audiences would respond all his life with standing ovations and great joy, when they heard Curtis sing and play the piano. His voice melted hearts. He performed in Washington, DC, on Broadway, in Los Angeles, toured with the U.S.O. and in the Caymans. A genuine and lovely man, he impacted all he met with his beauty, warmth, enduring charm and wit. He is survived by his parents, Wesley and Eloise Booker; brother, Wayne, and sister, Nora. Curtis I loved you all your life. Remember the time I saw you was on a pier @ Chesapeake Bay. We sat out there and told many sitting there. I always felt safe when your with me. I will you again and we'd will play music in Heaven. My heart is heavy missing you. Love you forever. Aunt Julia.

Curt was a talented musician. He wrote the most beautiful love song for his then wife and still, my closest friend, Tedde Thompson.
Their life together were some of his happiest years.
