DANIEL JAMES DEELY
Of Gainesville, VA, passed away on February 3, 2012. Beloved husband of 18 years to Monica K. Tang; loving father of Daniel T. Deely, Donald C. Deely, Timothy W. Deely and Anthony J. Deely; dear brother of Nancy Billotte and her husband Rusty and William Deely and his wife Pam; cherished grandfather of Hagan Deely. Daniel is also survived by his faithful companion Sydney. He served over 40 years with the United States Agency for International Development (US AID) working on environmental and development projects worldwide. He was an avid outdoorsman, global traveler, and passionate cook. He will be missed by family, friends, and colleagues alike. The family will receive friends at the EVERLY FUNERAL HOME, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax VA. 22030 on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 13807 Poplar Tree Road, Chantilly, VA 20151. Our deepest sympathy to Dan's wife, sons and Bill and Nancy. I have fond memories of growing up together, Ligonier visits, rides with Dan to and from Penn State, etc. I regret that I will be unable to attend the funeral.
