On Friday, September 18, 2004. Beloved son of Mrs. Betsy B. and Charles Tibbs passed on to glory with Jesus Christ. He was born April 21, 1947. He was known for his loving kindness and Christian services that he performed at the Christian Camp in Ashland for over 10 years teaching children and young adults about Christianity and love. He is survived by his sister, Montani Wallace; brother-in-law, Henry Wallace and brother, Charles Tibbs; his four sons and two daughters, many aunts and uncles. Service will be held Saturday, September 25, at 12 Noon at HORTON'S FUNERAL HOME, 600 Kennedy St. N.W.

Sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Darrell. Overjoyed in hearing he had a "Victory" testimony and was my brother in the Lord. You see, Bobby, Darrell, Ba' Ronnie & I go back a ways.
