Darryl was one of my former supervisors at MPD. He was a gentleman, fair and polite, who loved the Lord and his beautiful daughters. To the family, I pray the peace of God will sustain you and give you much comfort, as you stand on the promise that "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (2 Cor. 5:8)" Darryl has fulfilled his God-given purpose and now he can rest in eternal joy, peace, and happiness with the King of kings. Praying for all of you.

My sincerest condolences goes out to the Harrison family. I known Darryl since 09-23-2003 he hired me to work for Georgetown University Police Department. I love him so much because he treated everybody the same. And he used to let me work all of the overtime that, I wanted. Of all of the chiefs that worked for the university, I had much respect for him. I am truly going to miss him when GOD tells me it is your turn my child to leave this earth to go too a bigger and better place where we all can rejoice and have a good time. I am hoping to see my friend Darryl again so we can reminisce about the good old days.

I have know Darryl since we were about 14/15yrs.old and I was dating his cousin Patricia - who would later become my wife. Darryl was in our wedding and we shared many years of love and friendship. We also worked together at MPDC 6D and later at Georgetown University where he was Commander of Public Safety and my supervisor. Darryl was a gentleman, kind, soft spoken, and a true professional. He was family, he was a co-worker, but most of all, he was my friend.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and dear friends. May we find solace in knowing that Darryl has answered his final rollcall and passed his last inspection - now, go in sweet peace my brother and take your rest, your journey has just begun. We love you...
