Dave "Uncle Dave" Denne was one of the most admirable individuals I've ever met. He touched so many lives and always did so with a smile, positive attitude, and with sincere pleasure. I will never forget the Santa suit. Dave raised a wonderful family and was a great husband to Cathy, a wonderful father to Amanda and Nate, and an incredible brother to his siblings. HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY. May his family find strength and comfort in one another today, and each moment along the way.

To the Denne Family
I never got a chance to meet Mr. Denne (Coach) but i know Nathan and must say what a wonderful person he is and i am sure much like his father. My sister Samantha Hanks has always had so many wonderful things to say about Mr. Denne and how she thought of him and still does think of him as a dad to her since ours passed away seven years ago. I know your spirit will forever live on and may God Bless all of the Denne Family with strength and love. I am so sorry for your loss and send my prayers to all of you.
God Bless

Dave has touched and enriched many lives over the years, mine included. I knew him through CYA Softball, and his love of the game and commitment to "his kids" is an inspiration to us all. Words cannot express the sadness felt in his passing. My sympathies are with you all. God Bless.

My sincere heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Denne family at this most difficult time. I have known, worked with, and admired Dave for his honesty, enthusiasm, and wisdom. Dave made me and all others better for the experience of just knowing him as a friend, colleague, and business partner. He was a true visionary that this world will not soon see again

In any role (friend, business associate, competitor, or ally), Dave was always a pleasure to be around. He will surely be missed. Who knows what he will be able to negotiate for in Heaven?

He was my father, mentor, and by all means my best friend. His happiness and ability to work hard all the time is what made me strive to always do better. Lending a helping hand to someone was always his first choice, even if it meant he would not get done what he wanted. Know I love you and will never forget you Dad.

To the Denne family - My sincere condolences for your loss. Dave was, without a doubt, the most fun and charismatic person I've ever had the pleasure of working with at Dewberry. I don't think I ever saw him enter a room without a HUGE smile on his face - his good mood was always contagious. He made people laugh wherever he went. He will be missed by all of us. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this very difficult time.

I worked with Dave at both Dewberry and Greenhorne & O'Mara many years ago and have never forgotten his flair for telling stories. Especially tales about the funny things the kids did growing up! He always had a broad smile and made us laugh. He had a vision for getting things done and spread his enthusiasm to the team. My condolences in your loss I'll always remember him for the fun he shared and the opportunities he gave me.

I want to send my condolences to the Denne Family. Dave will be terribly missed. Dave taught me a lot of what I know about the working world. I wouldn't be where I am at without him. I learned many, many things from him, but the most important was the example he set with his integrity and honesty. Dave could always be counted to give you the whole truth no matter what. I always looked up to Dave for his intellegence, selflessness, and integrity and considered him a mentor.
