My deepest condolences and sorrow for the loss. I worked with Dave at AMS and spent dozens and dozens of offshore fishing trips with Dave on the "Out of Control." Dave was never happier than seeing a deck covered in tuna. One memorable trip we often reminisced about was a cold November day, the last trip of the season, where we loaded the boat with long fin tuna. No bites for hours then every rod went down. He was smiling ear to ear.
I always felt comfortable with Dave at the wheel. He had passion, foresight and perseverance. He was a pleasure to work and fish with over the many years. I have many fond memories and will miss Dave dearly. Rest in peace Captain.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon him.
