Dear Jan,
Please know that my sympathy and thoughts are with you. I was so saddened to hear about the loss of David. I wish there were something I could do to ease the pain. Please know how much I value our friendship and your support.
The memories of Dave will be of Woodstock and the shop he had. I enjoy the time I spent with you and Dave and will always remember them.
It is a difficult time as you adjust to life without Dave. I know you two has a very special relationship and that will always remain. It take time for pain and sence of loss to subside, but when it does, it is special to bring those wonderful fellings back into your life.
I don't have any words of wisdom. I just want you to know you are thought of and cared for.
Be kind to your self.
