I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. My deepest condolences to his wife and family.
He was the manager of my Merrill Lynch account going back many years, and was always gracious, efficient, insightful, and a pleasure to work with.
We all have lost a good man.

Kathie: Mary and I are devastated by the news of David's death. As you know, he and I go back some 31 years, arriving in Germany the same day in '74. That friendship stood the test of time, and I will never forget the kind of Armor officer and staunch comrade he was, long after our tankin' days were over. May God bless and be with you and the rest of the family as you deal with the loss of your beloved husband and our dear friend, David. He was a good man, and you brought him much joy and happiness. Our prayers are with you at this time of grief and sadness, Kathie.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked in the Tysons Corner office as a Client Associate before transfering to the Reston office. David always inquired how I was doing after learning of an accident I had in 1995. I found him to be a very kind and caring person - very easy to talk to. Please accept my deepest condolences.
