DAVID M. RESNICK

DAVID MEREDITH RESNICK (Age 85)  
On October 27, 2014, Dr. David Resnick passed away in Edgewater, MD from kidney failure. David was a devoted husband to Elaine Resnick, who died in 2001, and a supportive father to his four daughters: Donna Resnick, Beverly Dimka, Carol Resnick and Meredith Resnick Budzinski. Known as "Boppi" to his six grandchildren-Emily Dimka, Megan Dimka, Brian Dimka, Elaine Budzinski, Jordan Budzinski and Maya Budzinski -he tirelessly supported their academic, athletic, and artistic endeavors. He was the first graduate of the University of Maryland Department of Hearing & Speech (achieving his Doctorate at the University in 1966) and recently delivered a commencement address at the school. He worked professionally as Director of Hearing and Speech at the Washington Hospital Center for many years. David was also a musician, writer, photographer and cook. Originally from Plymouth, MA, David lived for nearly 50 years in Crofton, MD, and is also survived by the many devoted friends who called him "Doc".
