Sara and Kathy,

I was saddened this evening to hear of Dave's passing. I have fond memories of his many visits to Washington State when I was a kid, his hospitality as a terrific host on Chesapeake Bay and his visits with us in Florida on the St. Johns River.

I have great admiration for his service to our country.

I hope your memories give you peace.

Hugs to you both,

Tom
