We have so many fond memories of Debbie and think of her so often. Recently, we were recalling our outing with her and Larry to the Becker Vineyards in Fredericksburg and the fun we had. She was a dear friend who is missed dearly and will always be in our thoughts.

Larry, sending good thoughts your way as I view this reminder of my best friend. I can´t believe it has been 17 years that she has been missed. Dave and I think and talk of her often and remember you both fondly. The world was a better place with Debbie in it. Sending our love and would love to hear from you. We are still in our home in San Antonio.

Debbie was my college roommate at Washington University and a life-long friend. We would always remark that no matter how long it had been since we had last spoken that we took up exactly as if no time had passed. Debbie was one of my three bridesmaids and for over 35 years has been very special in my husband's and my lives. We were thrilled when she and Larry met and wed and will for all time hold him dear in our hearts. He is a wonderful man who brought great joy to Debbie throughout good and bad times. We will all miss her great wit and loving personality. She has been a model of life as it should be lived to us all.

I did't know Debra that well but the little time I did she was a person that you would have thought you knew forever.

May God bless you and your entire family, at this time of sorrow

Dear Larry and family:

As many of you are I'm so sad to hear the news of Debbie's passing, but please know that she has now moved onto a better place in life -where there is eternal life in God's everlasting care.

Although I never met you Larry and her family, my deepest sympathy to all of you during this time of sorrow.

Debbie in my opinion was one of a million. When I met and worked with her at DOJ and since leaving many years ago, she always made an everlasting impression on me and held a special place in my heart as a spectacular women and lawyer just always giving the right advice and knowing what to say. Even though its been a while since I last visited the office she has always been in my thoughts and prayers as Sharon has kept me abreast of Debbie's health.

My heart extends out to each and everyone of you and may God bless you Larry and all her family members.

Our son Geoffrey Mombach was a true friend to Debbie as they went through law school together. He admired her courage and strength and kept us posted on her health.

Our sympathy goes to you Larry at this sad time in your life and we hope your courage will sustain you in this dark moment.

Larry and family,

I wish that I could deliver this message in person. Deb has been my friend for over 30 years and I will always treasure the good times we shared and be grateful for the loving help she gave to me during difficult times. Her sense of humor, solid wisdom and devotion to her family and her profession were the things I admired most. And her sense of adventure inspires me still. I am so thankful that you and she were able to share Jeff and Sarah's wedding last fall. In the past months, I believe that she also taught us all about love, strength, and courage. She is in my heart and will remain here forever.

Dear Larry and Family:

I worked with Debbie at the Justice Department. When I arrived I was a new lawyer and Debbie helped me learn how to pracice law. She always treated me with kindness and supported me in my work. Debbie was an excellent colleague and a good friend to me while I was at Justice. I have always admired Debbie for the person and lawyer that she was. I will always appreciate her kindness and friendship.

Larry, Alan and Jeff, in-laws and other family members.

I take in comfort to know that Debbie lived a well-loved and full-filled life. I'm blessed beyond words to say how coming to know her in my life has been of great multitudes, which will continue. I started working with Debbie in 1978 as her secretary at DOJ for 15 yrs., and as my supervisor until her retirement. Up until a few weeks ago at Alex. Hospital, I stayed in touch with her. She also on a personal level was an inspiration, wise wisdom, and shared personal issues. She had been with me through my joys and sorrows, such as I was with her, even on her wedding day to Larry. I will truly and deeply miss her but she will never be forgotten in my life. I wish you great comfort during your time of sorrow and know my prayers and best wishes in holding her life with us as a happy one will continue, as she would want us to do. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask.

My son Michael and husband Homer also extend their prayers and best wishes to you. My son recalls her in the office as having those jelly beans on her desk. ( :
