Demetrios G. Stergiou
Demetrios G. Stergiou, 91, of Falls Church City, Virginia, passed away peacefully and entered to the presence of the Lord on July 5, 2022. May his memory be eternal. Demetrios was born in Velventos, Kozani, Greece in 1931. He, and his beloved wife of 51 years, Stella, were proud owners of Fairlington Pizza in Alexandria, VA. He is survived by his son George, daughter Vaitsa, son-in-law Teddy, and his cherished grandchildren Demetri and Angeliki.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m., at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Road, Falls Church, Virginia 22041. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 401 N. Roosevelt Street, Falls Church, Virginia 222044. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church, VA.
