Dennis Keane Obituary
DENNIS G. KEANE (Age 64)
On Saturday Decemer 17, 2011 of Berlin MD, formerly of Berwyn and Beltsville MD. Beloved husband of Virginia Keane; loving father of Jason, Lauren and Brooke Keane; brother of Jim (Lynne) Keane, Eddie (fiancee, Phyllis) Keane, Mike (Suzie) Keane and Tim (Claire) Keane; brother-in-law of Inez Smock, Jim and Sandy Suit, George and Becky Suit; son of the late James and Elizabeth Keane; uncle of the late Jessica Keane. Mr Keane served with honor and distinction for more than four decades with the Prince George's County Police Department and the Maryland State Police. He will also be remembered by his many friends at Behnke's Nursery in Beltsville, MD, where he directed the company's Physical Security Program for more than 30 years. Mr. Keane was a Master Mason with the Laurel Wreath Lodge #149 and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #89 and the Prince George's County Retired Police Officers Association. Relatives and friends may call BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME, 4400 Powder Mill Rd., Beltsville, MD Wednesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jeromes Catholic Church, 5205 43rd Ave., Hyattsville, MD on Thursday, December 22 at 10 a.m. Interment private. Dear Virginia and family,
I just learned today,12/25/11, about your lose of Dennis. I 'm deeply sadened that I could not be there for you and Dennis. My oldest son Dan Shieffield, worked with Dennis on the PG Dept., and is still on (almost 25 years). I went to High Point with Dennis. I hope you can remember me. I 'm John Panzone, Laurel TV, I fixed your TV when you lived in Beltsville. My wife and I, and Danny's prayers our with you and your family.

I am so saddened to hear of Dennis' passing. I worked for 11 yrs at Behnke's and we shared many fun times at the customer service desk. My deepest sympathies to Virginia, Jason, Lauren and Brooke.
