My prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to the family. You are blessed to have had someone in your life as special as Dewitt. I met Dewitt while working as a Secretary in DIA. He would always come by the office every morning to greet us with humor. He was a great man with a wonderful personality. He will truly be missed by all.

I first met DeWitt in 1980, when I joined DIA as a civilian analyst. He became the branch executive officer, and I was continually impressed with his ability to get anything and everything done that was needed. He made our branch tick. I was most impressed with what he did for us when most of DIA moved from Arlington Hall Station to Bolling AFB. Through his many and creative efforts our branch moved into prehaps the best single location for our type of work. We also got the best equipment. He was great. May he rest in peace, and his family know how good he was.

With fond memory of Dewitt. We really had a great time at DIA. He was an outstanding executive officer serving for numerous office chiefs. I enjoyed his pranks and humor.
