Diane LeMasters Knippers died in Arlington, VA on Monday, April 18, 2005 of complications related to cancer. She was 53. President of the Institute on Religion and Democracy, and a board member of the American Anglican Council, Five Talents International, the National Association of Evangelicals, Diane was an active member of Truro Church. Diane is survived by her husband, Edward C. Knippers, Jr.; her parents, Clarence E. and Vera LeMasters of Lakeland, FL, and her brother, Douglas LeMasters of Fairfax, VA. Visiting hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 22, at Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA. A memorial service will be held at Truro Church, 10520 Main Street, Fairfax, VA on Saturday, April 23, at 3 p.m. Memorial gifts may be directed to Five Talents International (www.fivetalents.org, P.O. God bless our friend Diane. She was a blessing to so many and fought long and hard for what she believed in and what was right. She is now at peace. We will miss her.
