DOLORES JUNE MURDOCK CHALOUX "Dolly"

Dolores June Murdock Chaloux "Dolly", beloved wife and mother, passed away after a long illness on May 8, 2022 at age 90. Dolly was born in Maine where she lived on 100-acre farm, attended high school at Monmouth Academy, worked for the State of Maine Employment and Security Commission. In 1959, she married Paul Chaloux and together they had six children. Throughout her years, Dolly dedicated her life to her family. Dolly worked as a nurse's aide for Fairfax County Schools. She loved children, reading, and playing Bridge and Mahjong with her friends. Also Dolly loved bowling, playing cards and games with her children and grandchildren, as well as watching their sporting events. She created a home full of love that welcomed all neighbors, friends, and family. She is survived by her six children: Paul Chaloux Jr.(Sue) of Arlington, VA, Janet Chaloux-Baum (Gary) of Encinitas, CA, Richard Chaloux of Aldie, VA, Sandra Chaloux (Tom) of Aldie, VA, Michael Chaloux (Rhonda) of Alpharetta, GA, and Maria Chaloux (David) of Aldie, VA; nine grandchildren: Jeremy Baum (Julia), Brittany Baum Walker (Josh), Kathy Restaino (Brian), Tom Chaloux (Katherine), John Chaloux, Dan Chaloux (Carly), Zach Chaloux, Maddie Chaloux, and Nicole Buckner; and her three great-granddaughters, Natalie, Sidney and Evelyn Restaino. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 41685 Corpus Christi Drive, Stone Ridge, VA. A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial to follow at 1 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
