Donald Michael Barnes, Jr.
Of Annapolis, MD passed away at home on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from complications of a respiratory infection. He was the beloved son of Cathy and Don Barnes of Potomac, MD; loving brother of Stephanie Barnes and Susan Hull (Jim); cherished uncle of Jackson Helling and Madeline Hull.Donny was a graduate of St. Elizabeth Catholic School, Georgetown Prep, and Villanova University. He spent twenty-five years in the Hospitality Industry.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, MD.In lieu of flowers, gifts in Donny's name to Chesapeake Bay Foundation (www.cbf.org) would be appreciated.www.pumphreyfuneralhome.com

So sorry for your loss. It feels like just yesterday that Donnie and I, as 8th graders at St. E's, went to my older brother Roy's graduation from Georgetown Prep. We loved that campus and were laughing at all the commotion around Arnold Schwarzenegger who attended as well. I have nothing but fond memories of Donnie and the whole Barnes clan. He will be missed. Be strong.
