DONALD W. SCUDDER (Age 81)
On Friday, August 5, 2011, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of Lynn Scudder; father of Bruce (Lisa) and Kevin (Kerin) Scudder; grandfather of Paige and Camille Scudder; brother of Dorothy Closs, Joyce Bouw and the late Barbara Zimmerman. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Millian Memorial United Methodist Church, 13016 Parkland Drive, Rockville, MD, on Wednesday, August 10 at 11 a.m. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851, www.themmrf.org.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Scudder family,
I spoken with Mr. Scudder throughout the years and he always provided me with positive support. A terrific man. Prayers are with you in your loss. I wish I could have made it to Maryland to show my support in person. God Bless You all. So sorry Kevin, for the loss of your father.

My dear Lynn. I have very fond memories of you and Don many years ago when I lived in Manor and we all played bridge together and shared wonderful friendships.
Don was such a gentleman and your home was lovely and so welcoming. My son, Brett, read about Don on Facebook and remembered the name and called today to tell me. Don was very blessed and I know you will be at peace with your memories. My prayers go out to you and your family.
