Doris Bishop Obituary
BISHOP DORIS BISHOP (Age 92) Of Alexandria, Virginia died on October 27, 2009. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Richard A. Bishop. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Barnes (and her husband, Peter), living in the United Kingdom and Nancy Bishop of Alexandria, VA. She was the caring grandmother of Rachel and Emma Pawson of the United Kingdom. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Beckington, who lives at Goodwin House in Alexandria. A memorial service will be held following her interment at Arlington National Cemetery on December 2, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Saint Luke''s Episcopal Church, 8009 Fort Hunt Road, Alexandria, VA 22308. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris'' memory may be made to Vitas Hospice of Northern Virginia, Tyson Pond II Suite 450, 1604 Spring Hill Road, Vienna, Virginia 22182. www.everlyfuneralhomes.com
