DORIS LEONARD
Entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 17, 2016. Beloved wife of Archaleus Leonard Sr. Also survived by three sons, Archaleus Leonard Jr., Ricky R. Leonard (Krystal) and Kris Leonard (Jonita); two daughters, Wanda Warbington (Sherman) and LaTonia Carroll (Daryl); stepson, Bruce Johnson (Marcella); eight grandchildren eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Covenant Baptist Church, 3845 South Capitol Street, SW, Washington, DC Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Thursday, June 30 at 11 a.m. Services by Hodges & Edwards.

I never met Doris personally, but the life she lived spoke volumes about who she was. I can say with all certainty that she was loving, kind, and caring. I know she will be greatly missed by all whom knew her. My prayer is that the family will draw together on the strength of her memories. I pray for your comfort and your peace. My heart and thoughts will be with you always.
