Douglas Henry Cromwell of Wellington, Florida and Warrenton, Virginia died on October 2, 2025 peacefully at his Leeton Hill home shortly after being diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor. Doug was born on October 12, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Doug was educated at Pennington Prep School in New Jersey, graduating as salutatorian in 1968 and attended Duke University majoring in economics and political science in 1972. His professional banking career spanned nearly 50 years, in which he was a well regarded commercial banker for large real estate corporations, hospitals, and universities.
