It has been one of my greatest pleasures to know Earl for more than fifty years as a Haverford classmate and fellow alumnus. He was a man of thoughtful vision, high ethical standards, energetic leadership, and caring friendship.
He will be missed by all of us who knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jean and the family at our mutual loss.
