Edgar White Obituary
On Tuesday, December 7, 2004. Son of the late Edgar R. White, Sr. and Corrine Hamilton; He was the devoted father of Joseph P. Hursey, Edgar R. White III, Antonio M. White, Clinton Darnell White, Bernard E. Thompson and the late Antonia Thompson; brother of Cletio Ricketts, Delores Holmes, Phyllis Edwards and Tyrone Hamilton. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The late Mr. White may be viewed at the STEWART FUNERAL HOME, 4001 Benning Rd. N.E. on Monday, December 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. He will lie in state at Jericho City of Praise Church, 8501 Jericho City and Bishop Peebles Dr., Landover, MD on Tuesday, December 14, from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Pastor Joel R. Peebles, Sr. officiating. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

I thank God for my angel Edgar who is now up above & who will always watch over the ones he LOVED. Time has now come for my Bop to take a rest we all LOVED you but God LOVED you best.

Your memory will always be a beat of my heart even though you & I had to suddendly part. I thank God for giving you & I our time we had together. We had a TRUSTING bond that can never be broken. I now have another angel up above who will look out for all that he LOVED. Words can never express my deepest feeling for you. So as you close your eyes and take your rest remember big brother that I will always LOVE you but God LOVED you best.
